FlightSafety operates the world's largest fleet of advanced full-flight simulators and award-winning maintenance training at Learning Centers and training locations in the United States, Canada, France and the United Kingdom.

Purpose of Position

The Accounting Operations Specialist is responsible for multiple tasks across the entire Revenue Cycle. Including but not limited to pricing, collections, billing, and accounts receivable.

Minimum Experience

4+ years of relevant experience

Tasks and Responsibilities

The following duties are essential to the successful and satisfactory performance of this job. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Review and understand billing and accounts receivables transactions.
  • Research invoice and payment clearings and/or postings
  • Resolve invoice issues related to prepay accounts.
  • Answer inquiries, both internal and external customers.
  • Handle a section of the past due AR and make collection attempts.
  • Identify problems and inconsistencies within the collections process and recommend appropriate corrective procedures.
  • Assist with customer specific pricing entries.
  • Complete department projects as assigned including but not limited to credit cleanup, and sales contact cleanup.
  • Maintain productive and working relationships with various FlightSafety teams such as sales, client experience, and the learning centers.
  • Assist with Travel and Concur as needed.
  • Task as assigned to help with accounting month end closing.
Minimum Education

Associate's degree or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Syteline or similar software preferred
  • General knowledge of the following software: MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Outlook.
  • Highly organized, comfortable working in fast paced environments.
  • High energy, enthusiastic promoter of the organization and career opportunities.
  • Ability to work independently and with a team.
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
