Key Responsibilities
- Ensure accuracy of data, complete necessary state documentation, and manage tax and fee disbursements.
- Utilize dealership software to process registrations for new and pre-owned vehicles.
- Handle title transfers for pre-owned vehicles efficiently.
- Prepare and distribute title-related documentation.
- Maintain a systematic follow-up on incoming titles.
- Reconcile schedules for tax, title, and license payments, as well as lien payoffs.
- Identify and address internal control issues by reviewing policies and communicating with management.
- Keep detailed error logs for process improvement.
- Manage payoffs related to trade-ins and financing, ensuring all contracts are forwarded to the appropriate financial institutions.
- Verify Finance and Insurance (F&I) data against documentation.
- Conduct weekly and monthly reconciliations of inventory schedules.
- Process payroll for sales consultants on a semi-monthly basis.
- Ensure accuracy of F&I logs in relation to accounting data before month-end.
- Handle rebate processing.
- Participate in weekly departmental meetings.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent; six months of relevant experience or training preferred.
- Required certifications, licenses, and registrations, including a valid Driver's License.
- Notary Bond is necessary.
Physical Requirements
- This role involves light to medium physical activity.
- Visual acuity is essential for safe vehicle operation.
- Constant activities include standing, walking, talking, hearing, and typing.
- Frequent repetitive motions are expected.
- Occasional activities may include balancing, kneeling, crouching, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 20 lbs.
Working Conditions
- The position may involve exposure to varying environmental conditions, including temperature fluctuations and outdoor weather.
- Minor physical hazards may be present, such as electrical and mechanical equipment.
- Potential exposure to fumes, odors, and dust associated with automotive operations.
