The Basics of a Card Operations Representative:
Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Flexibility required - extended hours, based on company needs

What you'll do as a Card Operations Representative:

In this role, the Card Operations Representative is committed to completing all operational duties as assigned to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the Card Services department. Representatives effectively utilize all available resources to consistently provide the highest level of service to our members relating to areas of debit cards, credit cards, and ATMs, in addition to acting as liaisons between members, vendors, and business lines to ensure timely follow-up and resolution of any issues encountered.

Process member dispute claims (including payment and notification) in promptly communicate effectively with members, merchants, law enforcement, and other financial institutions to analyze details of the dispute claim.
Log and track all incoming dispute claims.
Process expedited card order requests, as needed.
Process card chargebacks.
Support various card services campaigns to increase use and increase interchange income.
Monitor daily card file transmissions to ensure all processes are functional and potential issues are identified in a timely manner.
Perform timely research and resolution for dispute claims.
Provide operational support and administration of the debit card instant issue card application.
Support processes related to card reissues and ATM/Debit Card disputes.
Seek opportunities to expand knowledge and skillsets by maintaining a thorough working knowledge of applicable credit and debit card products, procedures, and regulations.

Qualifications:
Qualifications

Must-Have as a Card Operations Representative:

Experience: 2+ years in card payments investigation or operations.
Skills: Customer Service, Verbal & Written Communication, Attention to Detail, Data Processing, Tech Literacy.
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.

Nice to Have as a Card Operations Representative:
Experience: 1+ years of the required experience in a related credit union role.
