Successful candidates will have a strong interest in working in HR operations and contributing to a variety of employee-focused programs, including training and development and culture.

Responsibilities

  • Support the HR generalist function with various tasks, including but not limited to:
  • Assist with onboarding/offboarding processes, including preparation of offer letters, initiating employee background checks, and scheduling meetings.
  • Assist with changes to employee salary, position, location, etc. by updating various systems and advising team members.
  • Assist with benefit enrollments and changes, including annual open enrollment processes.
  • Assist with payroll administration, including reconciling weekly timesheets and other responsibilities as directed for completing payroll.
  • Conducts audits of payroll, benefits or other HR information/processes.
  • Assist with maintenance of employee files, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Assist with administration of performance reviews as needed.
  • Respond to day-to-day staff inquiries.
  • Assist with HRIS data entry along with maintenance of other HR systems, ensuring accuracy of all system information and reporting.
  • Prepare, maintain, and update HR paperwork, forms, and general correspondence as needed.
  • Manage employee-focused projects and logistics as directed, i.e., training, companywide events, culture-related programs, etc.
  • Additional duties and projects as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 2+ years of previous HR or related experience working in a similar professional services environment.
  • Ability to handle confidential matters with care and discretion is critical.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Motivated and responsible self-starter who takes direction well and can work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to juggle multiple assignments while maintaining high quality work product, in-depth attention to detail, and meticulous organization and project management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Working understanding of human resource practices and procedures.
  • Proficiency with HR systems (HRIS, ATS, Performance, etc.) is required. Specific experience with Paylocity and Lattice is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Outlook skills.

The base salary for this position is between $ 60,000 to $ 70,000 commensurate with experience, plus eligibility for a discretionary bonus..
