St. Andrews Estates is currently seeking qualified candidates for the role of Therapeutic Assistant in our skilled nursing neighborhood. Our beautiful, gated community is located in Boca Raton, FL.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing resident activities mainly in a dementia neighborhood (Special Care Program) by providing direct activities or leading other CNA's in group activities, while also providing resident activities of daily living. This includes feeding, toileting, grooming, and ambulation. If certain staffing levels requires on a given day for additional support then a full CNA assignment will be given to the therapeutic assistant.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:

  • Current State certification for Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
  • Minimum of six months experience within the geriatric healthcare field
  • Dementia care experience is preferred
