Overview:
Florida Atlantic University is seeking a dedicated student to fill the role of Campus Recreation Generalist Intern. This position is ideal for individuals who possess excellent leadership, communication, and organizational abilities, and are eager to contribute to various programs and events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the logistics of programs and events
- Address facility-related concerns
- Implement and uphold policies and procedures
- Collaborate with the Marketing Team to create engaging social media content
- Assist facilities and operations staff with diverse tasks
Qualifications:
Applicants must be degree-seeking undergraduate students enrolled in at least six credit hours with a minimum GPA of 2.0. Authorization to work in the United States is a prerequisite.
Preferred Skills:
- Able to work both independently and collaboratively
- CPR/AED and First Aid Certification is advantageous
- Preference for upperclassmen candidates
Compensation: $18.00 per hour
Work Commitment: Approximately 20 hours per week, with shifts that may include early mornings, late evenings, and weekends.
