Korn Ferry is seeking a dedicated professional for the role of Assistant Professor of Neurology within the Cognitive Division.
Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate a robust clinical and research foundation in clinical-translational studies focused on Cognitive and Memory Disorders.
- Provide clinical care to patients at the designated clinic, engaging in two half-day outpatient sessions in cognitive neurology.
- Focus exclusively on cognitive neurology, with no general neurology or inpatient responsibilities.
- Gather and analyze data to support research grant proposals to various funding bodies.
- Emphasize the development and execution of independent research initiatives.
- Allocate approximately 80% of effort to research activities and 20% to clinical duties, under a non-tenured full-time faculty appointment.
- Conduct comprehensive clinical-cognitive-functional-behavioral evaluations, analyze various biomarkers, and explore innovative pharmacological and non-pharmacological interventions aimed at diagnosing, preventing, and treating neurodegenerative conditions.
- Integrate into a collaborative care model for the assessment and management of older adults facing diverse neurodegenerative challenges.
Qualifications:
- MD degree from an accredited institution or its international equivalent.
- Completion of a fellowship in Cognitive or Memory Disorders is preferred.
- Board certification in Neurology is highly recommended.
- Eligibility for a medical license in the relevant state is required.
