Pay: $25 per hour

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our Human Resources team as a Temporary Human Resources Operations Specialist to fill in for an employee on leave.

The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting various HR functions and ensuring the smooth operation of HR processes. This position requires a strong understanding of HR policies and procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.

Responsibilities:

HR Administration:
Manage the day-to-day administrative tasks of the HR department, including but not limited to employee records management, personnel file maintenance, and data entry.
Assist in the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing paperwork, conducting orientation sessions, and coordinating with various departments to ensure a seamless integration.
Assist in the offboarding process for employees that are exiting, including preparing paperwork, and coordinating with various departments to ensure a smooth exit.
Manage the Wellness program, including planning and executing activities.
Benefits Administration:
Support benefits administration by assisting employees with inquiries, facilitating enrollment processes, and collaborating with benefit insurance providers to resolve issues.
Maintain accurate records of employee benefits participation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
Audit benefit invoices and ensure accuracy.
Compliance and Policy Adherence:
Stay updated on federal, state, and local regulations related to HR policies, procedures, and employment laws.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures by providing guidance to employees and managers, as needed.
Employee Relations:
Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding HR-related matters.
HR Systems and Reporting:
Maintain and update HRIS and other HR databases and systems to ensure accuracy of employee information.
Generate reports and analyze HR data to support decision-making and strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

2+ years of experience in HR administration, operations, or a related role.
Strong understanding of HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
Proficiency in HRIS software, preferably UKG Pro.
Proficiency in Google Docs and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Detail-oriented and analytical mindset with a focus on accuracy.
