We are looking for a talented Senior Reverse Engineer to join our team at KBR. As a Senior Reverse Engineer, you will play a key role in leading and mentoring our Reverse Engineering and Vulnerability Research team. This position involves driving complex reverse engineering projects, identifying vulnerabilities, and creating proof-of-concept exploits to enhance security.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of reverse engineers to foster collaboration and high performance.
  • Conduct full-scope reverse engineering across hardware, firmware, software, and network protocols.
  • Design and implement advanced reverse engineering frameworks and tools.
  • Analyze system components to identify vulnerabilities and potential attack vectors.
  • Develop innovative solutions to enhance system resilience.
  • Stay updated on emerging threats and techniques through continuous research.
  • Effectively communicate technical findings to diverse audiences.
  • Represent KBR at industry events and conferences.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience, with at least 5 years in reverse engineering.
  • Proficiency in assembly language, C/C++, Python, and other relevant programming languages.
  • Expertise in reverse engineering tools such as IDA Pro, Ghidra, Binary Ninja, and debuggers.
  • Knowledge of network protocols, cryptography, and security vulnerabilities.
  • Leadership and mentorship skills.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
  • Experience in managing customer relations.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience in hardware reverse engineering and firmware analysis.
  • Published research papers or presentations at security conferences.
  • Contributions to open-source projects or security communities.
  • Understanding of threat modeling and security assessment methodologies.
