Position Overview:

As a Senior Software Engineer, you understand that an effective application or system requires a harmonious blend of well-structured code, robust APIs, insightful analytics, and a solid infrastructure to deliver a user-centric experience. We are in search of a seasoned software engineer who possesses the technical acumen to pinpoint potential challenges, engage in solution crafting, and design efficient systems tailored for our clientele.

In your role at Booz Allen Hamilton, you will leverage contemporary architectural methodologies and open-source technologies to provide innovative solutions. Utilizing your software engineering expertise, you will collaborate with and gain insights from the development team to construct bespoke tools, systems, and platforms that ensure reliability and scalability.

Key Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, Go, C++, or Node.
  • Proven experience in developing scalable APIs.
  • Familiarity with database architecture, encompassing both SQL and NoSQL.
  • Proficient in Linux operating systems.
  • Knowledge of containerization technologies.
  • Experience working within an Agile development framework.
  • Competence in Git and version control methodologies.
  • TS/SCI clearance is mandatory.
  • A Bachelor’s degree coupled with 5+ years of software development experience or 7+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Python and FastAPI.
  • Familiarity with ElasticSearch or Neo4j.
  • Background in building and managing CI/CD pipelines.
  • Scrum Master Certification, including PSM, CSM, or SSM.

Security Clearance:

Selected candidates will undergo a security assessment and may need to fulfill eligibility criteria for access to classified data; TS/SCI clearance is essential.
