Job Overview

RIVO Holdings, LLC is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to enhance our finance team. This role is ideal for an individual who is passionate about the intricacies of corporate accounting and is committed to delivering exceptional service to both internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transaction Management: Accurately input financial transactions into our accounting software, ensuring that all entries are correctly categorized and recorded.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare bank deposits and maintain general ledger postings, ensuring that financial statements are accurate and complete.
  • Accounts Processing: Handle incoming payments and outgoing invoices, adhering to established financial policies and procedures.
  • Discrepancy Resolution: Reconcile accounts and investigate any discrepancies to ensure timely resolution.
  • Expense Monitoring: Oversee company expense reports and address any inconsistencies as necessary.
  • Reimbursement Processing: Manage reimbursement requests, ensuring all necessary documentation is collected and approved.
  • Audit Participation: Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual audits, contributing to the preparation of tax documentation.
  • Compliance Maintenance: Ensure adherence to accounting standards and legal regulations in all financial activities.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain both digital and physical financial records with precision.
  • Additional Duties: Undertake other responsibilities as assigned by management.
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in accounting or bookkeeping is essential.
  • Prior roles such as Accounting Assistant, Bookkeeper, or similar positions are highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, accounts payable, and receivable processes.
  • Proficiency in financial regulations and tax compliance.
  • Experience with accounting software, particularly QuickBooks, and advanced Excel skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on numerical accuracy.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to manage confidential information with integrity.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or equivalent software.
