Integrated in the Constructel Visabeira Group and reporting to Veritá Telecommunications Corporation, the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for Veritá will be managing all financial requirements and activities of the company. Position will report to the CEO of Verita and functionally to the Group CFO based in Europe.



Key Functions/Responsabilities


  • Serve as a strategic partner to the CEO and executive team, providing financial insights and participating in the development of the company’s strategic vision and long-term value, as well as being responsible for HR and IT.
  • Ensure Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), preparing annual budgets, forescasts, financial models and reinforcing existing processes and mechanisms for regular reporting to Constructel Visabeira (CV)
  • Ensure financial reporting and compliance, overseeing accurate and timely preparation of financial reports, in compliance with accounting standards (GAAP).
  • Ensure key disciplines and evaluate efficiences on cash flow (amongst other tasks managing payables, receivables etc.) and capital expenditure.
  • Manage external audits and ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations, as well as effective internal controls to safeguard company assets.
  • Manage the company’s capital structure, including debt and equity financing, in strict coordination with CV.
  • Develop and implement risk management policies and procedures, assessing and mitigating risks, according to CV’s guidelines.
  • Evaluate and prioritize investment opportunities based on their potential impact on company’s financial performance.
  • Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure a motivated team and that departamental goals are met.


Key Requirements/Competencies:


  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in a similar role.
  • Previous experience in managing HR and IT policies and teams.
  • Solid financial backgroung regarding financial principles, accounting and financial analysis.
  • Knowledge of telecommunications infrastrucuture industry and market specificities, is preffered.
  • Strategic thinking, aligning financial goals with business challenges and opportunities.
  • Analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Ethical conduct, upholding the highest standards of integrity, ethics and corporate governance.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Fluent in english.
  • Ready to be based in Southern Michigan, around the Detroit area.
