Job Summary:

A biotech client of Insight Global is hiring an Accounting Operations Specialist who will be an integral part of our Accounting Operations Team. This role will support daily accounts payable tasks, including invoice processing, vendor relationship management, and process improvement projects for the Accounting Operations Team.

Responsibilities:

  • Invoice Processing: Manage accounting inboxes, process invoices, and ensure accurate coding of payables.
  • Collaboration: Work with procurement and internal teams to ensure smooth procure-to-pay processes.
  • Support: Respond to internal inquiries about accounts payable.
  • Reconciliation: Review and reconcile monthly vendor statements.
  • Vendor Management: Handle vendor onboarding, including W-9s and banking information.
  • Issue Resolution: Address vendor inquiries and resolve invoice disputes.
  • Month-End Close: Participate in month-end closing activities and collaborate with the Financial Reporting Team.

Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience within Accounts Payable
  • Experienced managing a high volume of invoices (1000+ per month)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Experienced working directly with vendors and/or clients
  • Skilled in MS Excel and G-Suite

Plusses:

  • Previous experience working within a fast-paced start-up environment



Contract/Contract-to-Hire Roles:


Compensation:

$30/hr to $40/hr.


Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.


Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
