Job Description


As a CTO at our compounding pharmacy, you will embody our core values in every aspect of your role. You will be responsible for executing a comprehensive technology strategy that aligns with our business goals and supports our growth plans. Taking pride in everything you do, you will supervise all technical aspects of the company, accelerating digital innovation within the organization and leading technical staff to ensure that products and services are developed efficiently.


Reporting directly to the CEO, the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) will play a pivotal role in defining and executing the technological roadmap for our compounding pharmacy. This is a newly established position aimed at identifying and addressing our evolving technological needs, enhancing efficiency, and ensuring seamless integration of technology across all aspects of our operations.

About You

You are a seasoned technology leader adept at driving innovation and transformation, with a strong background in leading teams and implementing strategic initiatives. Embodying positive team spirit, your strategic mindset navigates complex technological landscapes, collaborating closely with leadership and team members to address specific needs. You excel in managing vendor relationships and evaluating technology solutions, ensuring scalable, secure systems that optimize efficiency. Your agility with new software and systems keeps our compounding pharmacy at the forefront of healthcare innovation, fostering collaboration and excellence in technology-driven solutions.


Responsibilities: 


  • Develop and execute a comprehensive technology strategy tailored to the company's business objectives, scalability, and operational efficiency, demonstrating respect for all.
  • Lead automation and integration initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and streamline processes, fostering innovation and efficiency.
  • Create and manage the technology budget, optimizing resource allocation and ensuring cost-effective solutions, working your hardest to achieve financial stewardship.
  • Oversee the design and implementation of robust technical architectures, ensuring alignment with business requirements, and industry best practices.
  • Establish and maintain efficient and reliable technology operations, including systems infrastructure, network, data management, and security protocols for high performance, uptime, and data integrity.
  • Stay informed about the latest tech advancements to provide strategic insights and recommendations for maintaining our technological edge, embracing continuous learning.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to technology teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement, embracing positive team spirit.
  • Evaluate and manage relationships with technology vendors and service providers to ensure high-quality and cost-effective solutions, demonstrating excellence in vendor management.

 

Attributes & Skills


  • Proven experience (10+ years) in a senior technology leadership role, preferably within the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry, demonstrating expertise and experience.
  • Strong understanding of compounding pharmacy operations and regulatory requirements, ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing technology strategies that support business growth and operational efficiency, achieving measurable results.
  • Expertise in automation, integration, cybersecurity, and IT infrastructure management, maintaining technological excellence.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization, fostering a collaborative and communicative environment, respecting all individuals.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, PMP) preferred, maintaining a commitment to professional development.
  • Excellent communication skills, ensuring clarity and transparency in all interactions, embodying positive team spirit.
