Summary:

Our client is a dynamic manufacturing and engineering company specializing in metal, plastic and rubber fastening systems and is looking to add a professional Sr. Account Manager to their team. In this position, you are required to do some international travel.


The Sr. Account Manager must have 5-7 years of experience working with Tier 1 suppliers / OEMs


Sr. Account Manager Requirements:

  • Project Management
  • Ability to read 2D/3D drawings
  • Ability to use and understand CAD equipment and software – SolidWorks / Adobe Graphics is a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic technical knowledge; metal, plastic and rubber fastening systems
  • Ability to travel to customer and supplier site
  • Has a passport


Sr. Account Manager Description:

  • Manage projects/customer from supporting design development to production launch internally and externally
  • Coordinating efforts between employer and end user customer (OEM and Large Tiers)
  • Analyze engineering sketches, drawings, specifications and related data to determine design factors such as size, shape and arrangement
  • Must have excellent systematic organizational skills to manage projects
  • Provide customer with product application support/recommendations, with Engineering support, from inception through production for new and existing product design
  • Must have knowledge concerning material, process, tooling, product and cost
  • Must also be able to prepare marketing materials and update design materials used by Sales Team to promote products
