As a Benefits Manager, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and administering comprehensive benefits programs for our organization. You will ensure that our benefits offerings are competitive, compliant with legal requirements, and effectively meet the needs of our diverse workforce.


Responsibilities:

- Develop and manage all aspects of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, wellness programs, and other fringe benefits.

- Research and recommend new benefit programs or improvements to existing programs to maintain our competitive position in the market.

- Collaborate with insurance brokers, benefit providers, and other external vendors to negotiate contracts, resolve issues, and ensure cost-effective delivery of services.

- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations governing employee benefits programs, including ERISA, ACA, and HIPAA.

- Manage the annual benefits renewal process, including plan analysis, communication, and enrollment.

- Educate employees about their benefits options through effective communication strategies, such as presentations, written materials, and online resources.

- Oversee the administration of benefits programs, including enrollment, claims resolution, and billing reconciliation.

- Monitor industry trends and best practices to proactively adjust benefits programs and policies to align with organizational goals and employee preferences.

- Partner with HR leadership and other departments to address benefits-related issues and support organizational initiatives.

- Maintain accurate records and prepare reports on benefits utilization, costs, and trends for management review.


Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).

- Proven experience (5+ years) as a Benefits Manager or in a similar role managing employee benefits programs.

- In-depth knowledge of benefits-related regulations and compliance requirements.

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate data, understand trends, and make recommendations for program improvements.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels of the organization.

- Detail-oriented and organized, with strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

- Proficiency in HRIS and benefits administration software.

- Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Employee Benefits Specialist, CEBS) are a plus.
