Job Overview

Position Summary:

As a key member of our payroll team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll for our employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage bi-weekly payroll cycles, including the integration of time and attendance data into the payroll system.
  2. Conduct thorough reviews of electronic timecards and payroll data entries to ensure precision and uniformity.
  3. Input information related to new hires, separations, salary adjustments, and employee benefit selections into the Human Resources Information System (HRIS).
  4. Oversee the processing and management of garnishments.
  5. Create and tailor various payroll-related reports to meet organizational needs.
  6. Assist in the reporting of employee compensation and information to relevant authorities.
  7. Address employee inquiries regarding payroll, including procedures, forms, and software-related issues.
  8. Support the Payroll Manager and Accounting Manager as required.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:

  • A solid understanding of company policies and departmental procedures.
  • Knowledge of payroll taxation, labor laws, and benefits regulations.
  • Strong numerical skills with the ability to accurately compute and document figures.
  • The capability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and transition between them as needed.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • The ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Experience Requirements:

A minimum of three years of payroll processing experience in a company with a workforce exceeding 250 employees is required. Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.

This position operates Monday through Friday, with flexible working hours primarily between 8 AM and 4:30 PM.
