Key Responsibilities:
As the Compensation and Benefits Manager, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Managing the complete payroll cycle, ensuring all transactions are processed accurately and on schedule.
- Implementing and refining payroll systems to guarantee the precise processing of salaries, benefits, taxes, and other deductions.
- Ensuring adherence to all relevant payroll regulations and best practices.
- Collaborating with HR and finance teams to maintain accurate employee records.
- Addressing and resolving payroll-related issues efficiently.
- Identifying and rectifying discrepancies in payroll and timesheet data.
- Working closely with HR to ensure the accuracy of benefits deductions.
- Generating detailed reports for management and auditors.
- Facilitating the timely processing of payroll updates, including new hires and changes in compensation.
- Establishing and enforcing payroll policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
To excel in this role, candidates should possess:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in payroll management, ideally within a manufacturing context.
- Proficiency in Ceridian Dayforce is essential.
- A thorough understanding of tax and labor regulations.
- Strong numerical skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Robust problem-solving skills and analytical capabilities.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.
- Strong organizational skills and the capacity to perform under pressure.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Certification as a Payroll Professional (CPP) is advantageous.
