Regional Sales Manager - Hospital Sales
Join a dynamic sales team at i-Health, where you’ll lead the charge in driving the success of two powerhouse consumer health brands—Culturelle® and AZO®—within long-term care (LTC) and acute care hospitals connected to prominent Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs).
As a Regional Sales Manager, you'll be at the forefront of shaping and executing sales strategies within your region, fostering a high-performing team of Hospital Sales Specialists, and ensuring sales goals are met and exceeded. Your expertise in navigating large institutions, IDNs, and regional hospitals, combined with your account management acumen, will be key to your success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Hospital Sales Specialists to achieve territory sales goals by promoting Culturelle® and AZO® to healthcare providers, administrators, and decision-makers within IDN-affiliated hospitals and LTC facilities.
- Design and execute a Regional sales plan aligned with national strategies.
- Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and entrepreneurial spirit within your team, guiding them toward a shared vision with authentic leadership.
- Cultivate deep product and market knowledge, understanding the competitive landscape and broader healthcare marketplace.
- Continuously develop your team's skills through targeted coaching, training, and development activities.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with i-Health teams, including Marketing, Sales, and Medical Affairs, to achieve shared business objectives.
- Leverage data-driven insights, including sales analytics and CRM reports, to inform strategic decisions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in pharmaceutical, medical device, or consumer healthcare sales.
- At least 2 years of experience leading sales teams with a proven track record of exceeding goals.
- Prior experience in hospital/IDN sales is essential.
- Clinical experience (e.g., RN, nutrition) and knowledge of nutrition or probiotics are highly valued.
- Strong performance management skills with the ability to close performance gaps and elevate team performance.
- High level of clinical sales and business acumen, with demonstrated learning agility.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Experience with Salesforce CRM is preferred.
Travel Requirements:
- Ability to travel up to 60%, with experience managing large geographic areas.
