Nava Health and Vitality Center is seeking a detail oriented and organized office administrator to join our team. The office admin will be responsible for overseeing several areas, which includes sorting and distributing incoming mail, paper claim billing, medical record requests, scanning documents and additional ad hoc responsibilities. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Billing and Claims Management: Print and prepare paper claims for mailing in a timely and accurate manner. Ensure all claims are complete and meet standards before distribution.
2. Mail Handling: Sort, open, and distribute incoming mail related to billing and claims. Prepare and send out outgoing mail including claims, invoices and other billing documents.
3. Document Management: Scan and electronically file all relevant billing documents and correspondence. Maintain scanning SharePoint standards. Assists with data entry and updating records in the billing system.
4. Medical Record Requests: Accurately manage and update patient medical record requests in accordance with HIPAA and company guidelines. Creates and maintains electronic and manual medical record requests.
