Summary:

The Skillwork Client Manager serves as a liaison between the client’s facilities/jobsites and our company, ensuring excellent customer service and client satisfaction while driving opportunity and growth for the company. This career opportunity requires a highly motivated individual who is a self-starter, wants to grow and is driven by creating lasting relationships. The majority of the Client Manager daily responsibilities will be at our headquarters in Omaha Nebraska, with travel throughout the conterminous United States.  The position reports to the VP of Operations and is accountable to Director of Sales for activity to achieve personal and company goals. 

 

The ideal person filling this position is directly responsible for helping to create and foster the first-of-its kind business model in a fast-moving start-up company that values strong character, high energy, and work/life balance. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate and maintain valuable relationships with new clients. 
  • Contact clients with skilled labor shortage to help secure new business.  
  • Establish quarterly and annual sales goals that support the company strategic direction. 
  • Ability to travel to and meet with clients and their associated facilities to help build and maintain client relationships and needs.  
  • Manage travel budget according to travel policy. 
  • Organize and schedule a variety of competing activities – must be able to work across the organization to prioritize and focus. 
  • Ability to negotiate contracts with clients resulting in mutually beneficial terms.  
  • Work with all directors to provide clear and concise feedback, preferences and direction to assure efficient process. 
  • Ability to listen and address all matters in a professional and mature manner. 
  • Motivated to set and meet personal and team growth targets. 

 

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years sales experience with a proven success record. 
  • Proven ability to manage complex processes and adjust time and effort based on competing priorities. 
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills. 
  • Experience utilizing a CRM system.  
  • Good written and verbal communication. 
  • Excellent listening skills. 
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment.  
  • High integrity and self-motivated. 
  • Familiarity with MS Office/365 applications, VOIP Telephony, virtual meeting software (Ring Central, Zoom, etc.). 
  • Experience interviewing and assessing potential candidates/new hires. 
  • Up to 40% travel required  


Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

  • Degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration, Organizational Management, Sales, Human Resource, Logistics, or related fields. 
  • Experience in or familiarity of the Staffing or Skilled Trades Industry. 
  • Experience within a small office setting or emerging company.
