As an HR Consultant within the HR Operations team, you will provide expert advice on performance and behavior management, talent management, disciplinary actions, policy interpretation, and risk mitigation. This hybrid role, based in Washington, DC, reports to the Senior Manager of Human Resources and involves collaboration with various teams to develop innovative solutions and deliver exceptional service to clients.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Align HR programs with client needs and objectives, providing support to meet these requirements.
  • Offer proactive coaching and guidance on compensation, performance management, employee relations, and policy interpretation.
  • Use HR metrics to identify opportunities, develop reports, and create action plans.
  • Handle complex employee relations issues confidentially, collaborating with the legal department as needed.
  • Work with Learning and Development and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion teams on initiatives.
  • Partner with business leaders and Recruiting on workforce planning and compensation discussions.
  • Conduct exit interviews and analyze data.
  • Support the annual Performance Management Process.
  • Mentor less experienced HR Operations team members.
  • Assist with special projects.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive HR experience; international HR experience (LATAM and Canada) is a plus.
  • Proven experience as an HR Business Partner with various leadership levels.
  • Expertise in handling sensitive employee situations and day-to-day employee relations.
  • Knowledge of HR disciplines, including compensation, performance management, and employment laws.
  • Experience in training initiatives and consulting/professional services preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and confidentiality.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • HR certifications (PHR, SHRM-CP) and experience with Workday are preferred.
