Responsibilities:


This position is accountable for executing complex and significant professional, analytical, and consultative human resources functions for CommonSpirit Health. The role involves developing, delivering, and coordinating specific projects/products/recommendations that align with HR/Compensation-related standards, stakeholder needs, regulatory requirements, and organizational objectives.

The incumbent acts as the primary contact for job analysis and classification activities, ensuring that accurate and compliant job descriptions are maintained for all positions within the organization.

This role requires close collaboration with HR management and the Compensation Center of Expertise.


Key responsibilities include: 1) reviewing recommendations and providing insights to ensure alignment with compensation principles and organizational guidelines; 2) coordinating the execution and communication of recurring programs/projects (e.g., merit increases, market adjustments, incentive awards); and 3) participating in acquisition, integration, and standardization initiatives.


The incumbent is expected to take initiative in performing work independently, addressing challenges and deviations in accordance with established procedures and accepted practices.

Guidelines for conducting work are generally clear, necessitating the exercise of independent judgment in selecting the most relevant guidelines, interpreting precedents, adapting standard practices to unique situations, and recommending alternative actions when faced with limited precedents.


Success in this role requires a comprehensive understanding of compensation concepts, practices, and legal requirements, as well as strong skills in communication, data analysis, and project management.

The incumbent is responsible for staying informed about applicable statutory limitations, regulations, and industry trends that may affect compensation strategies and programs.


Qualifications:


A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, coupled with a minimum of five years of directly-related experience that demonstrates the acquisition of necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Alternatively, any equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to fulfill the essential functions of the position is acceptable.
