Candidate Profile

The ideal HR Business Partner will possess the following qualifications:

  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline is required.
  • Experience: At least three years of experience in a Generalist or HR Business Partner role within an organization of 100 or more employees, with a strong understanding of employment laws and regulations. HRCI or SHRM certification is a valuable asset.
  • Entrepreneurial Spirit: A proactive approach to addressing long-standing gaps in care delivery for Black and Brown populations, ensuring alignment with CINQCARE's internal business objectives.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities, with the capacity to present concepts clearly to various stakeholders.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong command of Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with HRIS systems, with a willingness to learn new technologies as necessary.
  • Relationship Management: Proven ability to cultivate and maintain effective relationships with business leaders, colleagues, and clients.
  • Ethical Standards: Strong judgment, integrity, and a collaborative mindset; a desire to thrive in a dynamic and demanding environment.

Key Responsibilities

The HR Business Partner will undertake the following responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary HR contact for executives, managers, and employees within designated CINQCARE client groups, providing timely and effective advisory services on various employee relations matters.
  • Support leadership in addressing sensitive or complex issues, managing documentation and coordination of disciplinary actions and investigations.
  • Act as a strategic partner to organizational leaders, translating business strategies into effective people strategies.
  • Implement initiatives that promote a positive organizational culture.
  • Maintain expert knowledge of company policies and procedures.
  • Stay informed about current HR trends, best practices, and relevant regulations.
  • Assist in the upkeep and communication of the employee handbook and contribute to policy development.
  • Ensure compliance with mandatory training and continuing education requirements.
  • Collaborate with the Total Rewards team during the annual Open Enrollment period and assist employees with benefits and leave requests.
  • Facilitate a smooth onboarding process for new hires, ensuring an exceptional first-day experience.
  • Support the development of Individual Development Plans and assist with career pathing for interested employees.
  • Oversee the annual performance evaluation process.
  • Manage reductions in force in compliance with regulations, demonstrating compassion and care.
  • Conduct exit interviews and analyze feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate offboarding processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Provide support for HR initiatives and special projects as needed.
  • Maintain professionalism and confidentiality in all aspects of the role.
  • Perform additional job-related duties as required to support the organization's growth.

Leadership and Strategy

The HR Business Partner will exemplify our organizational culture and lead the development and execution of personnel policies, providing guidance for business operations. They will propose new programs and procedures to enhance efficiency and employee morale.

Collaboration and Compliance

The HR Business Partner will engage in the development of people objectives and systems, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations and updating policies as necessary. They will be accountable for fostering a productive, inclusive, and safe work environment for the HR team and the broader organization.

CINQCARE offers healthcare benefits to employees working an average of 30 or more hours per week, with costs shared between the organization and its employees.

Work Environment

This position requires in-office work (minimum three days per week) in a traditional office setting. Effective communication with various stakeholders is essential, and the role may involve handling challenging interactions. Regular use of communication devices is necessary, along with the ability to sit for extended periods and manage common office equipment.
