Director of Client Development

Key Responsibilities for the Director of Client Development:
- Work with Senior stakeholders on a clear business plan and new client acquisition strategies to execute
- Sign-up new clients across the US through various types of outreach: business development calls, meetings, marketing material, networking events, etc.
- Work closely with our recruitment team to place candidates at the companies you are building relationships with
Leadership
- Hire and develop other Client Developers
- Drive a high-performance culture that is also fun
- Lead from the front on activities being driven and produce results
- Live the Values of the company
Ownership:
- Partner with Leadership and Operations on strategy, processes, and changes
- Review and improve processes as necessary
- Monitor payroll/timesheets for clients and escalate issues to Finance
Skills needed:
- 7+ years working in the recruitment industry on the agency side or a similar field (such as consultancy services or another form of talent services)
- 5+ years in a pure sales or client development role
- 3+ years of leadership experience
- Proven success and track record of signing new client terms, building strong relationships at clients, and producing revenue with these clients over multiple years
- Ability to run a client meeting successfully both over video and in-person
- Ability to lead from the front and develop a high-performance culture
- Ability to train others through multiple methods: call coaching, role plays, classroom based, etc.
- Experience in tech markets is preferred, but finance would be considered viable as well
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills
- Ability to demonstrate a solution-based mindset
- Quota and goal-orientated
- Able to meet strict deadlines
- Independently motivated
- Team player
Location:
- This individual will work in a Hybrid capacity (two days in the office) from one of our three office locations: NYC, Charlotte, and Austin
Pay, Benefits, and Perks:
- Salary will be based on experience, but the minimum salary will be $100,000
- Uncapped Commission, management bonus, and high overall earning potential
