Position Overview

Good Apple seeks an exceptional Account Director who excels in delivering value to clients through insightful analysis, strategic problem-solving, and the presentation of effective integrated solutions. This role involves inspiring innovative work streams that foster client growth by leveraging the expertise of the entire Good Apple team. As a trusted advisor and partner, the Account Director collaborates with marketing and category directors, as well as agency leaders, to champion outstanding work and ensure impeccable execution.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Collaborating with Good Apple's channel specialists to provide integrated solutions, identify new business prospects, and outline scopes of work and revenue opportunities.
  • Deeply understanding the essential dynamics, strategies, and drivers of the client's business.
  • Anticipating opportunities and developing strategies to capitalize on them for business growth.
  • Prioritizing client needs by engaging with all levels of the client organization and continuously seeking innovative and relevant solutions.
  • Exhibiting strong teamwork skills with internal departments, utilizing agency resources to effectively support client objectives.
  • Establishing robust, collaborative, and trustworthy relationships with creative and strategic partners.
  • Navigating team dynamics effectively, especially when faced with conflicting priorities.
  • Mentoring and inspiring the growth and development of junior agency staff through consistent feedback, training, and development opportunities.
  • Being an accessible resource for team members, offering guidance and insights to enhance ideas and directions.
  • Keeping abreast of current marketing and industry trends and communicating perspectives on these issues.
  • Demonstrating accountability for overall agency performance and ensuring flawless delivery of services.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • 7 to 10 years of relevant experience, including 3 to 5 years in a managerial capacity.
  • Experience within the pharmaceutical and/or healthcare sectors is essential.
  • Proficient in digital platforms, with a keen understanding of the intricate and fragmented media landscape to create cohesive programs that yield results for clients.
  • A strong commitment to creative excellence and an appreciation for the processes that lead to outstanding work.
  • Excellent communication skills, particularly in delivering oral presentations.
  • A genuine curiosity and commitment to lifelong learning.
  • A passionate advocate for exceptional work, team dynamics, and business success.
  • Demonstrated diplomatic and empathetic leadership qualities.
  • Adept at listening and interpreting the dynamics of individuals and groups, adjusting style and responses accordingly.

Good Apple operates primarily in a remote capacity, with four week-long off-site gatherings each year to foster collaboration and creativity. Additional travel may be required to client locations to ensure the success of accounts and business initiatives.
