Scientific Research Corporation (SRC) is in search of a skilled Cybersecurity Engineer for providing Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Pacific system administration and information assurance support for intelligence programs. The candidate will need to support INFOSEC, COMSEC, RMF, and IT management on JWICS and NSANet.

The ideal candidate should have a background in the latest web-based technologies and a track record of successful application development. This position offers direct support to NIWC Pacific in San Diego, CA.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manages, installs, configures, and ensures reliable operation of computer systems and network infrastructure devices
  • Troubleshoots computer systems, applications, and supporting hardware
  • Handles access controls, permissions, and license management
  • Installs, configures, and administers systems/infrastructure
  • Ensures compliance with IA policies and cybersecurity directives
  • Documents configurations and changes, provides technical designs review
  • Manages network hardware, firmware upgrades, security compliance
  • Develops security architectures and standards
  • Researches new technology and recommends hardware and software
  • Reviews and updates system security documentation
  • Employs software tools for security assessment
  • Ensures adequacy of COMSEC measures
