Job Summary

SAIC is seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Engineer to support Project Overmatch. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality engineering support services, software engineering, and cybersecurity engineering.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement cybersecurity policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Assess and mitigate cybersecurity risks to protect our DoD customer's systems and data.
  • Design and implement secure network architectures and systems to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of sensitive information.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address cybersecurity vulnerabilities and threats.
  • Develop and maintain cybersecurity training programs to ensure the skills and knowledge of our team members.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging cybersecurity threats and technologies to ensure our systems and data remain secure.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Four (4) years of professional experience in cybersecurity engineering.
  • Information Assurance Management (IAM) or Information Assurance Technical (IAT) certification.
  • Active Secret Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with cybersecurity risk assessments and mitigation strategies.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and standards, such as NIST and DoD.
  • Experience with security information and event management (SIEM) systems.
  • Knowledge of cloud security and compliance.
