Position Overview:
Leidos is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to contribute to the development of advanced cyber and key management solutions. This role is integral to our Intelligence Organization, focusing on a comprehensive portfolio of cybersecurity projects.

Key Responsibilities:
The selected candidate will engage in a variety of systems engineering activities, including:
  • Conducting comprehensive systems design, analysis, integration, verification, and validation for cybersecurity projects.
  • Leading systems engineering efforts to support customer requirements and project objectives.
  • Implementing and maintaining Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) practices.
  • Managing requirements through decomposition, allocation, verification, and validation processes.
  • Developing System Architecture, CONOPS, and use case scenarios utilizing established systems engineering methodologies.
  • Facilitating discussions in customer meetings and technical interchange sessions.
  • Producing and reviewing a range of technical documentation, including manuals, specifications, and user guides.

Qualifications:
Required:
A Bachelor's Degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline, accompanied by a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, or a Master's/Doctorate with at least 8 years of experience.
  • U.S. citizenship and an active Secret DoD security clearance are mandatory.
  • Proficiency in Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) or equivalent methodologies.
  • Strong background in requirements analysis and risk management.
  • Familiarity with complex system development processes and technical documentation.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Desired:
  • Experience with operating systems such as Linux and UNIX.
  • Knowledge of programming languages, including Perl, Ruby, and Python.
  • Understanding of networking protocols and frameworks.
