Job Overview: Scientific Research Corporation (SRC) is in search of a Lead Cybersecurity Systems Engineer to enhance the capabilities of the Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Pacific in the realm of cybersecurity. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Cybersecurity/Information Assurance (CS/IA) and must hold a TS/SCI clearance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establishes standards, tools, and processes for Cybersecurity threat and risk reporting
  • Oversees NCSA Monitoring, CND, and DCO activities
  • Conducts code analysis and compliance validation
  • Develops risk assessment documentation and offers mitigation strategies
  • Evaluates technical assessments and suggests enhancements for RMF and CYBERSAFE
  • Delivers training on cybersecurity compliance
Essential Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or a related discipline
  • 5+ years of experience in C4ISR projects
  • Certifications: CISSP, CASP, CSSLP
  • Current TS/SCI clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with CND, High Assurance, and Information System Security Engineering
  • Experience in conducting risk assessments and analyses
  • Knowledge of CS reviews and testing
  • Understanding of CSTA standards and DFIA framework
  • Experience with RMF and IA TA Standards
