Basic Job Functions:- Responsible for coordinating with the customer on all components, QSRs, and customer pick-ups.
- Enter bill of lading for all shipments.
- Package, box or crate material weighing up to 50 lbs. and send out according to the specified shipping method.
- Assist in other areas of logistics coordination and dispatching as needed.
- Operate forklifts and other mobile equipment as necessary.
- Overtime and flexible work schedule will be based on the business needs.
Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
Minimum Qualifications:- Ability to operate forklifts and other mobile equipment as necessary.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Computer and data entry skills, MS Word, Excel, Outlook
- Working knowledge of the computer programs. (BOMS, SICM, OUTLOOK, D365)
- Prior customer relations experience.
- Prior logistics experience
