Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Logistics Driver to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely transporting cargo to and from various destinations, ensuring timely delivery and exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate GVW capacity trucks to transport cargo to and from customer locations, airline, and trucking terminals.
  • Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers at all times.
  • Ensure safe and efficient transportation of cargo, adhering to State and Federal DOT regulations and Transportation Security Administration requirements.
  • Load and unload freight using a forklift and pallet jack, and utilize load locks, straps, and covers to ensure cargo is delivered in good condition.
  • Report any irregularities related to pick-up and/or delivery of cargo, including damage, shortage, customer complaints, and customer requests.
  • Maintain radio contact or communication with dispatch office and promptly report delays due to weather conditions, breakdowns, accidents, or other emergencies.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum one year related experience; minimum 5 years industry driving experience may be substituted for a high school diploma or GED.
  • Valid state-issued Class C Driver's License issued by the driver's home state of residence.
  • Acceptable driving record as defined by DOT regulations, TSA regulations, and Company policy.
  • Forklift Driver Certification and DOT Dangerous Goods and Hazardous Materials Certification.
