Job Type: Part-time, either from 6:15-8:15 AM or 2:45-6 PM, Monday to Friday

About the Company: YWCA Rock County is committed to promoting peace, justice, and dignity for all by empowering women and working towards eliminating racism.

  • Provide high-quality and affordable child care options for parents of children aged 5-12
  • Create a safe, supportive, and engaging environment for children

Responsibilities:

  • Work under the supervision of the Child Care Site Supervisor, Program Director, and/or Assistant Program Director
  • Offer assistance to the Child Care Supervisor

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Completed 10 hours of training in school-age child care (approved by Wisconsin DPI) or willing to complete within 3 months of hire
  • Alternatively, be 17 years old and have finished a child care class
  • CPR and AED certification required within 3 months of hire

Other:

  • Employee benefits include discounted child care and free weekends
  • Possibility to attend classes during work hours

Compensation: $13-$13 per hour
