Position Overview

In the role of Childcare Site Supervisor - Group Leader, you will be instrumental in the planning, execution, oversight, and assessment of a designated childcare site.

Key Responsibilities

- Facilitate the program in a nurturing environment, ensuring safety, support, and care
- Adhere to all applicable regulations and guidelines
- Maintain accurate attendance records and ensure the safety and behavior of children
- Develop a secure and stimulating program space
- Communicate effectively with support staff and parents
- Supervise and interact with children to foster their development
- Ensure accurate record-keeping and management of supplies
- Cultivate community relationships and support YWCA objectives
- Participate in mandatory meetings and training sessions

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent; advanced degree in a relevant field preferred
- Experience in group activities and program development
- Ability to fulfill licensing requirements and certifications
- Strong communication and organizational abilities
- Commitment to diversity and inclusion
- Capacity to make informed decisions in the best interest of the organization
