- Establish relationships and influence key decision makers at customers.
- Foster the creation of unique solutions and products based on technology hurdles that drive customer business goals.
- Offer guidance to customers by providing memory architecture advice, memory product recommendations, conducting technical trainings, and formulating solutions.
- Visit customers regularly to identify new business opportunities, discuss ongoing projects, address concerns, and anticipate future requirements.
- Aid in issue resolution and test support, acting as the primary point of contact during critical situations between customers and factory teams.
- Collaborate with development teams to assess the viability of new products or features, ensuring they align with customer specifications.
- Coordinate laboratory activities that facilitate the design-in/validation process, including reviews of schematic/board layouts, design validation, and system-level testing.
Qualifications and Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Demonstrated proficiency in electronic board and system design, testing, system validation, and application engineering.
- Experience in Embedded Systems hardware architecture, design, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of Volatile, Non-Volatile, and Mass Storage Memories usage in Automotive or Embedded systems like NOR, NAND, DRAM, eMMC.
- Proven problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, including lab testing and debugging with tools such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and protocol analyzers.
- Language requirement: Proficient in English, both oral and written.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
- Previous experience as an applications engineer for a semiconductor manufacturer is preferred.
Salary Information:
The US base salary range for this full-time position is between $184,000 and $314,000. Micron Technology determines salary ranges based on role, level, and location. The displayed range represents the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries across all US locations. Final pay is influenced by work location, knowledge, skills, experience, tenure, and relevant education or training. Salary scale is subject to change as per business requirements.
