Role Overview:
The selected candidate will deliver field applications support to clients utilizing Analog Devices' premier power products and tools. A background in mixed-signal analog, interface technologies, sensors, and digital solutions is advantageous. This role involves tailoring optimal technology solutions to meet customer requirements while enhancing Analog Devices' market presence. Collaboration with sales teams, peers, business units, and technology groups is essential to identify key opportunities and influence new product development.

Key Responsibilities:
Responsibilities encompass, but are not limited to:

  • Analyzing and clarifying customers' system requirements.
  • Designing and proposing component-level and system solutions.
  • Collaborating closely with sales engineering and FAE colleagues to nurture customer relationships.
  • Conducting training sessions for clients on Analog Devices' products and solutions.
  • Identifying and proposing new product opportunities to enhance product lines.
  • Staying informed about emerging product technologies.
  • Working with the sales team to strategize and execute plans for key customers.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with product line management, marketing, and applications teams.
  • Leading seminars on Analog Devices power products, including demonstrations of development and simulation tools.
  • Participating in ongoing training to deepen expertise in ADI's technologies.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BSEE or equivalent; MSEE preferred.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Over 10 years of experience in product, design, and/or field applications engineering.
  • Diverse experience in power circuit design at both board and system levels.
  • Preferred experience in high current, multi-phase core power systems.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and set priorities.
  • Capability to engage with all levels of management, sales, and engineering.
  • Proficiency in SPICE.
  • Practical knowledge of control theory.
  • Experience with PMBus/I2C.
  • Ability to mentor and assist others with design and power simulation tools.
  • Strong hands-on lab and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to deliver persuasive presentations.
  • U.S. citizenship preferred.
  • Willingness to travel domestically: 25% - 35%.
