About the Job:

We are currently seeking a Test Lead for a long-term project based in Hartford, CT. As a Test Lead, you will be responsible for providing effective QA and Testing leadership to the contact center testing team, focusing on improving test processes to enhance efficiency in Agile Voice projects delivery. You will collaborate closely with clients to analyze, plan, and execute contact center and IVR testing strategies, requiring IVR testing experience with hosted and/or cloud-based technology platforms. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential for this role, along with the ability to lead offshore team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Knowledge of NICE IEX Workforce Management Software, Forecasting simulation testing, Schedule Run Testing, and IEX Report testing
  • Familiarity with Genesis IVR Platform, Pure engage cloud preferred
  • Participation in IVR projects/upgrades to understand client requirements
  • Collaboration with client teams to analyze functional and non-functional requirements
  • Experience in testing Genesys call routing, custom softphone applications, IVRs validation
  • Development of Manual & automation test strategies with CYARA and Selenium
  • Designing and overseeing test approaches, strategies, plans, and results
  • Participation in technical design reviews, use case reviews, and governance activities
  • Accountability for project or release test efforts across multiple domains and apps
  • Continuous improvement of testing efficiency and effectiveness through innovative QA practices

Technical Skills and Competencies:

Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field and at least 7 years of software quality assurance experience in Voice/Contact Center technologies. You should have 4+ years of experience in leading QA teams within contact center technology and familiarity with automation frameworks related to IVRs, call routing, or custom Softphone/CTI. Proficiency in risk-based testing, Agile methodology, and industry-leading testing tools such as Quality Center and Jira is required. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and self-organization skills are also essential for this role.
