Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Test Engineer to join our team at Raytheon Technologies. As a Test Engineer, you will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and future development of unique high temperature test rigs, including data processing, analysis, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and implement test procedures and protocols for high temperature materials testing
  • Operate and maintain high temperature test rigs, ensuring safe and efficient operation
  • Analyze and interpret test data, identifying trends and areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement new test methods and procedures
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including test procedures, reports, and presentations
Requirements
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in a laboratory or materials testing environment
  • Direct, hands-on experience with pressure, flow, or temperature measurement hardware
  • Basic level of proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) or similar productivity software
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and documentation skills
  • Ability to execute multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize tasking to meet project deadlines
  • US citizenship
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience in metrology, fabrication, operation, or maintenance of test apparatus
  • Proficiency with LabView programming and control
  • Experience with standard laboratory and life safety systems
Education

BS in Materials, Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, or related technical field with 2 years of relative experience
