Responsibilities:

  • Serve customers, associates, vendors and partners while modeling Sendik's culture and providing "best in class" customer service
  • Plan and execute weekly new hire orientations including but not limited to, new hire calls, coordination of schedules, material preparation, hiring and processing hires within HRIS system
  • Assist with filling open positions efficiently and effectively with top talent, based on volume
  • Manage associate electronic files including uploading applicable documentation and ensure required forms are completed timely
  • Oversee the employee referral program (BEEP)
  • Perform various administrative responsibilities in support of HR programs and initiatives including:
  • I-9 management
  • Active Minor violation reporting
  • Tracking of apparel usage and order placement for apparel inventory when needed
  • Assist with Birthday coupon reporting
  • Serve as backup for the reception desk
  • Serve as the backup for processing and sending out ID badges
  • Review standard operating procedures and practices; proactively seeks ways to improve upon current programs, procedures and processes
  • Assist in the stores during peak holiday seasons as needed
  • Complete other miscellaneous duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Associates degree required, Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Human Resources experience preferred
  • Experience in the retail industry preferred
  • Ability to interact effectively with individuals at all levels, internally and externally
  • Proficient in computer programs such as Word, Excel and Google Docs
  • Strong communication and problemsolving skills; strong continuous improvement mindset
  • Strong sense of security and ability to handle sensitive information
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent time management, prioritization and organization skills
  • Ability to work at a fast paced and efficient manner
  • Strong sense of team ability to anticipate the needs of the team
  • Ability to lift a maximum of 50 lbs
