Position Overview:


Reporting to the President and Owner, the Executive Vice President will primarily be focused on driving and achieving long-term, sustainable, and profitable growth for the company.

They will be responsible for managing marketing and sales efforts to strategically seek out and acquire new clients, qualify leads, and generate new business.

They will also oversee the Program Managers, Engineers, CAD, and Customer Service teams and their critical sales support efforts from lead generation through prototyping and ultimately to production.

In addition to leading sales and marketing strategy and execution, the EVP is a culture champion for the organization, developing a work environment that is open, honest, and respectful, where all understand the importance of performing their duties to win as a team.

Responsibilities:

Selling Value and Closing Business:


Along with the sales and support teams, the EVP of Business Development will expand and enhance the company's business by articulating the value that our solutions bring to prospective clients and closing business.


Planning and Accountability:
Responsible for developing and executing a growth-oriented sales plan that generates new business and prospects withing existing clients. Develops and implements processes that hold our teams accountable to our objectives. Forecast a sales pipeline, set team goals and track and report on scorecard metrics.

Driving Results:
Drive new revenue growth and profitability through their sales team as well as individual closing efforts. Manage the development, implementation, and improvement of procedures that ensure effective and efficient business operations.

Team Leadership and Development:


Maintain a productive and positive work culture and confidently motivate, mobilize, and coach the team to meet high sales performance standards and goals.

Collaborate closely with internal teams to coordinate company resources to ensure alignment of expansion efforts with overall organizational goals and objectives.


Strategic Relationships:


Develop and maintain strategic relationships with large customers by effectively educating and presenting solutions that are important to the appropriate stakeholders.

Advocate and monitor customer-focused programs to ensure satisfaction and mutually beneficial partnerships; ensure that we focus on and communicate clearly to the customer the overall value that FCT provides.


Collaborative Leadership:
An integral leadership member overseeing Marketing, Sales, Program Management, Engineering, CAD and Customer Service departments. Communicate effectively to stay aligned on goals, strategies, and key decisions. Utilize strong business and financial acumen to make sound decisions that align with company goals and initiatives.

Product/Service Alignment:


Work with Management, Engineering Team and FCT China Leadership on product offerings, capabilities, and technical roadmap to ensure alignment with the markets and customers that we serve.

Coordinate with marketing to develop and deliver messaging that will support the development of added business to meet organizational goals.


What You Will Need:
7+ years of experience in complex sales/sales management with proven track record of winning new business.
5+ years of business management/executive management experience with track record of achieving outstanding results.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Demonstrated track record of driving sales growth through consultative selling approaches, fostering long-term customer relationships, and exceeding revenue targets.
Ability to translate company vision and goals into actionable plans and objectives for the team.
Proficiency in developing and prioritizing initiatives and allocating resources effectively to maximize impact and drive sustainable growth.
Strong analytical skills to assess market trends, customer feedback, and competitive landscapes to inform consultative selling strategies and tactics.
Intellectual horsepower to translate complex concepts into actional plans for growth.
Ability to foster a customer-centric culture within the sales team – we CARE about our customers.
