Description
Job Summary: Entry level position to assist in the support of the team's book of business including the marketing process for new and renewal business.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Participate in day to day operations of a service team and the assigned book of business
- Prepare exposure analysis/renewal workbooks and work with client/producer to obtain information from the client
- Analyze renewal quotes for accuracy and prepare proposal/presentation documents for Account Executive review
- Review documents issued by insurance company for accuracy
- Maintain client records within EPIC and various vendor software, as appropriate
- Day-to-day operations may include, but not limited to: process policies, certificates, change requests, ID cards, endorsements, cancellations, audits and invoicing as required
- Train with AE/AM on best practices and audits
- Attend carrier meetings, to occasionally include afterhours events
- Over time, learning client accounts and how to manage
- Other duties as assigned
- Bachelor's degree required; in lieu of degree can substitute relevant education and work experience
- Proficient in Microsoft office products
- Alabama Property and Casualty Agent's license required; may be obtained in first 60 days of employment
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written required
