Your Role


  • This role is based in the West Los Angeles Community Resource Center necessitating 5 days of work per week
  • The Community Resource Center (CRC) team manages the Blue Shield Promise Health Plan Information Resource Center (IRC) and collaborates with L.A. Care to operate CRCs in Los Angeles County
  • Provide in-person support to Blue Shield Promise members and consumers visiting CRCs
  • Assist in connecting members to classes and personalized services for fostering community connections and addressing social needs
  • Engage members at quality events and CRC-sponsored activities

Your Work


  • Resolve member inquiries on eligibility, benefits, and provider information
  • Compose correspondence to address benefits/provider inquiries
  • Coordinate membership changes and participate in quality improvement workgroups
  • Analyze programs, determine eligibility, and connect members to relevant services
  • Conduct outreach calls to inform members about Community Resource Centers
  • Verify member inclusion in outreach programs and connect them to services
  • Assist in organizing quality events and CRC activities

Your Knowledge and Experience


  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience
  • Broad knowledge of operational systems and practices
  • Bilingual in Spanish
  • Experience with Medi-Cal enrollment guidelines
  • Customer service background
  • Positive attitude, flexibility, professionalism, and dependability

Pay Range:

The salary range for this role is $20.47 to $28.66 in California


Note:


This range represents the pay for various positions at Blue Shield falling in the same grade, based on experience, location, and current salaries for similar roles.
