Job Summary:

We are currently hiring for a Mitutoyo Specialist to support our team in Tallapoosa, GA. In this role, the individual will be supporting the quality and production team by using a Mitutoyo CMM to perform quality checks on various automotive components. To be selected for this position one must possess the ability to operate a Mitutoyo CMM without training or supervision. As a contractor with MS Companies, we will accommodate travel and lodging expenses, including per diem. This is an excellent opportunity for someone that is wanting to use their skills to make an immediate impact and help train the next generation.

Responsibilities

Operator is responsible for operating CMM equipment to measure and inspect parts, components, or products to ensure they meet specified quality standards.

Machine Operation: Operating CMM equipment to perform precise measurements using various probes, sensors, using Mitutoyo software.Program Execution: Running pre-written or custom measurement programs on the CMM to inspect parts for dimensional accuracy.Inspection and Testing: Conducting thorough inspections of parts to identify deviations from design specifications and quality standards.Data Analysis: Analyzing measurement data to ensure that components or products meet required tolerances and quality criteria.Maintenance: Performing calibration of CMM equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.Safety Compliance: Adhering to safety guidelines and protocols while operating CMM equipment.Training: Caple of training associates on the Mitutoyo software to run programs , measure parts without a program and create part programs.Reporting: Documenting measurement results and preparing inspection reports to communicate findings to relevant personnel.

Requirements

Expert Proficiency with Mitutoyo CMM5+ Years Quality Experience Ability to work 12 days on 3 days off. Return home every other week
