Maintenance Technician

We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, as well as the ability to diagnose and repair equipment effectively.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance on various types of equipment
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance activities
  • Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to ensure efficient operations
Qualifications:

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing or industrial setting
  • Strong mechanical, electrical, and plumbing skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Skills:
  • Basic Computer Skills for data entry
  • Working knowledge of SAP or CMMS software
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, work instructions, maintenance manuals, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to write routine reports
  • Effective communication skills with team members
Mathematical Skills:
  • Proficiency in addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
  • Ability to calculate rates, ratios, and percentages
Reasoning Ability:
  • Capacity to solve practical problems and handle various concrete variables in situations with limited standardization
  • Ability to interpret instructions provided in written, oral, diagrammatic, or schedule form
Work Environment:
  • The work environment may involve proximity to moving equipment, boxes, and parts.
  • Noise levels can fluctuate, sometimes reaching a loud intensity.
  • Temperatures may vary depending on the season, with potential for both hot summers and cold winters.
  • Certain areas of the facility may be dusty, dirty, or have unpleasant odors.
Physical Demands:

  • Frequent walking is required.
  • Prolonged standing for extended periods is necessary.
  • Repetitive movements are an integral part of the role.
  • The ability to locate misplaced or mislabeled products is essential. (Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.)

Occasional tasks may involve using hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reaching with hands and arms; climbing or balancing; squatting; stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling; and effectively talking and hearing.

Regularly lifting and/or moving up to 15 pounds is required. Frequent lifting and/or moving up to 30 pounds is necessary. Occasional lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds may be required.
