Job Title: Front Desk Agent

Reports to: Front Desk Manager/General Manager

Location: Ashland Springs Hotel

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service to guests.
  • Register guests, assign rooms, and check them out.
  • Answer and manage phone calls.
  • Make reservations online and by phone.
  • Assist guests with questions and deliver items to rooms.
  • Input data into the hotel's system.
  • Prepare charges and handle payments during guest check-out.
  • Report room and facility issues to the appropriate staff.
  • Offer luggage assistance and limited concierge services.

Qualifications

  • Proficient in property management systems, Microsoft Office, Word, and Outlook.
  • Prior experience in front desk or hospitality is a plus.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Professional appearance and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and work well in a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Awareness of Southern Oregon and nearby areas is desired.
  • Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for extended periods.
  • Open to additional job responsibilities as needed.
