Job Description:

At Regions, the Credit Products Real Estate Market Research Senior Analyst is a subject matter expert responsible for creating market, submarket, and industry relevant reporting to Real Estate Banking Leadership. Responsible for staying abreast of industry market activity and trends. Works collaboratively with Real Estate professionals across all sectors to provide insight and recommendations.

Responsibilities

Conducts comprehensive macro market research to proactively identify markets/submarkets of concern and markets/submarkets of opportunity

Creates presentation materials to provide peer and industry insight for real estate topics, as well as sector specific market data

Develops Portfolio Insights communication plan to address market conditions

Reviews existing portfolio, identifying industry events that could create stress

Conducts and reports on portfolio level sensitivity analysis

Reports observations in Business Risk Committee

Oversees new loan origination quality control function

Prepares New Origination Review Log for credit approval documents to test underwriting consistency across the organization

Actively participates in workstreams as Real Estate Banking SME for Financial Risk and Non-Financial Risk sponsored initiatives

Leads efforts and provides communications for IPF Credit Products process and guidance changes

May lead special projects as needed

This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.

This position is incentive eligible.

Requirements

Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Real Estate or GIS

Seven (7) years previous experience in real estate industry analysis/research, underwriting or equivalent

Skills and Competencies

Ability and willingness to take initiative, assume responsibility, and drive results

Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Etc.)

Effective verbal and written communications skills

Intellectually curious and adaptable

Proficient research and analytical skills

Understands the balance between speed and quality

Compensation Details

Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.

The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.

$203,140.00 USD

Incentive Pay Plans:

This role is eligible to participate in a discretionary incentive plan. Employees have the potential to receive a discretionary award based on performance against defined metrics and goals.Opportunity to participate in the Long Term Incentive Plan.
