GID Investment Advisers LLC Summer 2025

The GID Summer Internship Program offers a unique opportunity for interns to be assessed during the interview process and assigned to various teams according to their interests, skills, and core strengths. The available teams include Multifamily Portfolio and Asset Management or Multifamily Acquisitions. Each intern will contribute to their designated team on tasks such as valuations, market analysis, data interpretation, and reporting.

INTERNSHIP HIGHLIGHTS
  • Interns will be paired with both a manager and a mentor throughout the internship duration. These individuals will act as the primary resources for inquiries, workload management, guidance, and support.
  • Summer Interns will collaborate closely with team members, from Analysts to Senior Vice Presidents. Interns will gain a comprehensive understanding of the multifamily and industrial sectors, along with the assets and markets within the various GID portfolios. Interns are encouraged to propose ideas and take initiative on projects that support the enhancement of GID's investor relationships and the daily operations of the team. Throughout the internship, participants will acquire essential skills and foundational knowledge vital for success in the real estate industry.
  • The program features a comprehensive training curriculum tailored specifically for summer interns. The competencies developed during these sessions will culminate in a presentation delivered to members of GID's Executive Committee at the conclusion of the program.
  • Educational and networking events are organized throughout the program, facilitating knowledge sharing and professional growth.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • This summer intern position is designed for highly driven candidates pursuing a college or university degree, typically undertaken by rising juniors or seniors. Ideal candidates will have a proven interest in:
  • Private equity and/or real estate
  • Collaborating with team members on presentations and financial evaluations
  • Conducting thorough and detailed analyses
  • Creating presentations, proposals, and other marketing materials
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with Power BI is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Strong teamwork, communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills
  • Willingness to work additional hours as necessary.
DURATION

This is a full-time, 10-week paid internship.
