Position Overview: S&A is looking for a Vice President of Business Development who has the expertise to drive the company's growth goals effectively. The VP will be tasked with creating and implementing a sustainable growth strategy that aligns with the company's core strengths and capabilities. Reporting directly to the CEO, the VP will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure continuous growth.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Conduct market analysis to identify trends, competition, and alignment with company objectives.
  • Evaluate upcoming procurement opportunities and assess their fit with company strategy.
  • Lead the capture process and coordinate with key personnel.
  • Oversee proposal readiness and engage with all stakeholders.
  • Manage technical and pricing proposal development.
Travel requirements are estimated at approximately 20-40% for various business activities.

Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 15 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in project management, business development, and direct support in the defense industry.
  • Strong understanding of the business development process from market segmentation to post-award execution.
  • Proven track record in managing prime contracts and subcontracts.
  • Experience in the development and execution of successful captures and bids.
  • Proficiency in communication, relationship building, problem-solving, and schedule management.
  • Experience with federal organizations such as U.S. Navy, U.S. Army, and more.
  • Experience across various geographic locations and client commands.
  • Skills in oral and written communication, analytical thinking, and schedule management.

Proficiency:%30 - 40%
