Position Overview:
Sellers & Associates, LLC is in search of a Senior Vice President of Strategic Partnerships who possesses the expertise, skills, and experience necessary to drive the company's growth objectives.

The Senior VP will work closely with both internal and external stakeholders to foster significant and sustained growth year-over-year. This position reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer and involves regular interaction across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

The Senior Vice President of Strategic Partnerships will lead, manage, and execute business development initiatives throughout the organization, focusing on opportunity qualification, capture strategies, proposal readiness, and bid development.

This individual will leverage their experience to harmonize actions and overarching processes across the business development spectrum, engaging with all relevant stakeholders.

They will be accountable for applying project and program planning methodologies, along with detailed scheduling, monitoring, and control to ensure effective management and oversight.


Specific Duties Include:


Conducting market analysis to identify trends, procurement opportunities, competitive landscape, and alignment with the company’s mission and objectives.

Identifying and evaluating upcoming procurements in target markets, assessing potential customers and competitive requirements.

Managing and executing qualification reviews to determine alignment with company strategy, evaluating strengths and weaknesses against anticipated criteria, and conducting competitive assessments.

Overseeing the capture process in collaboration with relevant personnel, developing capture schedules, conducting regular meetings, and refining customer engagement strategies.

Facilitating the proposal readiness process and engaging with all internal and external stakeholders involved in bid and proposal development.

Guiding collaborative efforts to create, produce, and coordinate technical and pricing proposals in response to requests for proposals (RFPs), including management plans, quality control plans, staffing plans, and past performance narratives.

Travel requirements may vary, estimated at approximately 20-40% for customer engagements, capture execution, industry events, and other meetings.

Qualifications:
A Bachelor's Degree along with a minimum of 15 years of relevant experience is required.

Relevant experience should encompass a blend of direct support, project management, and business development roles within the defense sector.

Experience in target identification, qualification, capture strategies, and proposal development is essential.

This experience may have been acquired through direct business development responsibilities or formal business development roles.

A comprehensive understanding of the integrated processes from market segmentation to post-award execution is required.

Experience in leading and managing prime contracts and subcontracts is necessary.
A proven track record in managing or significantly contributing to successful prime captures and bids is essential.

Experience must include developing and executing call plans, conducting proposal readiness reviews, and managing the complete scope of proposal development.

Experience across various DoD and/or FEDCIV organizations is required, including but not limited to the U.S. Navy, U.S. Coast Guard, U.S. Army, U.S. Air Force, Department of Homeland Security, and/or Department of Veterans Affairs.

Experience across diverse geographic locations and client commands is preferred.

Strong oral and written communication skills, along with relationship-building, analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and schedule management capabilities are essential.

Experience with Other Transaction Authorities (OTAs) and/or Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) programs is a plus, but not mandatory.
