POSITION DESCRIPTION

The Branch Manager is responsible for acquiring new members and cultivating existing relationships to enhance service quality, loyalty, and sales performance within the organization. The primary focus is on growing profitable memberships that contribute positively to the overall cooperative. Working closely with the Marketing team, the incumbent develops regional marketing strategies to promote the Andrews brand and achieve growth targets.

This role involves driving improvements in branch profitability, ATM service, and overall branch performance.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Oversee and coordinate the daily operations of Tellers, Member Service Representatives, and Universal Branch personnel
  • Lead efforts to expand and retain memberships by aligning products and services with member needs
  • Ensure adequate staffing levels to meet business demands, including preparing work schedules and assigning tasks efficiently
  • Monitor branch cash limits set by the Board of Directors to prevent exceedance
  • Deliver exceptional service to members as evidenced by audits, reviews, and member feedback
  • Support staff development through training opportunities and regular meetings
  • Collaborate with Human Resources on recruitment, performance management, and employee counseling
  • Adhere to approved departmental budgets and maintain strong business relationships with Select Employee Groups
  • Engage in community outreach to promote Andrews Federal and participate in business development initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with Andrews Federal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, including the Bank Secrecy Act
  • Attend work consistently, interact professionally with colleagues, members, and external contacts, representing Andrews Federal positively
QUALIFICATIONS

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or related field
  • Two years of managerial experience
  • Three to five years of experience in a retail branch, with at least two years in a supervisory role
  • Demonstrated capability in meeting sales targets, growing business, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills with attention to detail
  • Highly motivated with a commitment to confidentiality
